The Zeitgeist Club is an Italian progressive metal band formed in Massa Carrara in 2024.
The debut album, The Short Century, is a concept record inspired by historian Eric Hobsbawm’s interpretation of the twentieth century: a period shaped by war, revolution, ideological conflict and rapid transformation. Each track explores a different fracture point or emotional consequence of that historical landscape.
Blending progressive metal, cinematic orchestration and atmospheric experimentation, The Zeitgeist Club craft songs that move between aggression and restraint, density and silence. Rather than treating history as nostalgia or symbolism, the band approaches it as something still alive — unresolved, cyclical, and deeply human.
